Eczema Cream

Over 30 million Americans have been diagnosed with eczema and the symptoms are different for everyone (source: https://nationaleczema.org/eczema/):

  • Dry, sensitive skin
  • Red, inflamed skin
  • Very bad itching
  • Dark colored patches of skin
  • Rough, leathery or scaly patches of skin
  • Oozing or crusting
  • Areas of swelling

Although scientists aren't absolutely certain what causes eczema, we know that there is a connection to allergies - both environmental (like chemicals in laundry soap) and food (like gluten). (more info: http://articles.mercola.com/eczema.aspx)

Because it's so difficult to get to the root cause of eczema, I created a cream to help calm the irritated skin and provide much-needed moisture. I sent samples of the cream to over a dozen people and the results were amazing!

Here's the recipe:

  • 2 oz Organic UNPROCESSED Cocoa Butter (This is a good one: http://amzn.to/2hHqZAq)
  • 2 oz Organic UNPROCESSED Coconut Oil (This is an amazing deal on Coconut Oil of this quality: http://amzn.to/2iTOaFw)
  • 2 oz Organic UNPROCESSED Shea Butter (This is a good one: http://amzn.to/2hZNPRw)
  • 2 oz Organic UNPROCESSED Black Seed Oil (I use this brand: http://amzn.to/2iTU7T3)
  • 48 drops Frankincense Essential Oil*
  • 48 drops Lavender Essential Oil*
  • 48 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil*

*This is a 2% dilution which is safe for adults to use daily. For recipes for kids and babies go here: https://www.sagemarie.com/blog/eczema-kids-babies

Instructions:

Melt the Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter in a double-boiler over simmering water. Turn off the heat and stir in the Coconut Oil and then the Black Seed Oil. Remove from heat and let stand until mixture reaches room temperature. Beat with a hand (or stand) mixer until fluffy. Add the essential oils and whip it some more!

Transfer to a jar with a tight fitting lid (like a mason jar) and store in a cool, dark, dry place for up to one year.

Here's an idea:

Make a batch of eczema cream. Put it in little jars and mail it out to friends and family who are suffering. They will LOVE you for it! (and you just might get them hooked on Essential Oils)

TESTIMONIALS:

Carol A. says...

"This is day 1. Thanks for the cream sample! I put it on liberally last night. The soreness went away almost immediately. I had 3 small raised areas that were gone by this morning. Still red, but less than before. I'm delighted so far."

"Day 3. Upper part of hand is no longer irritated. Nearer to the bottom of my thumb is still red, but not as itchy. (When I have a flare up, I itch so badly that I scratch in my sleep). It is a very greasy mixture, so if applied before bed, I would suggest wearing cotton gloves. Grateful to you for this!"

Day 6. Completely healed! No itching. No redness. Skin is soft and not flaky. I love this stuff. I applied liberally at night and wore cotton gloves over my hands. Thanks, Sage!"

Gwenda W. says...

"I can not believe the difference in my hand with only a day and a half of use. My hands are no longer chapped and the area I have been trying to heal since October 2015 is so much better. My hand was so rough that my 4 yr old nephew would not hold my hand. He's funny he checks my hand every time I see him to see if it better. Thank you."
